I am often asked how to set the times on Customers' central heating and hot water programmers. Often these are left on a "default" manufacturer's time program or often left on constant. This can result in wasting energy and money!

To make more efficient use of your boiler it can be beneficial to change to a Smart Control. This is the type of control that can be set using an App and controlled from your SmartPhone. Examples are Hive, which was originally created and implemented by British Gas and is now widely available, and Google Nest.

These are very convenient. For example, on a winter's day it is possible to turn your heating on before on your way home. When you arrive home the house will be nice and warm!

I specialise in Smart Controls, particularly Hive and Google Nest. I can also install other systems of your choice such as Tado or manufacturers' own systems. Increase the effciency of your gas appliance by replacing old outdated controls. In most cases you will save on your gas bills.
